The largest homeless shelter in Tarrant County, the Presbyterian Night Shelter, is located at 2400 Cypress in Fort Worth and provides for homeless women, children, and men. A hot meal is served each evening, and various medical, counseling, and social services are also provided.

Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You drink?"… "Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me" Matthew 25:37-40

Emmanuel supports the Night Shelter through special offerings and by providing volunteers to serve meals at the shelter on the first Saturday of every month from 4:00 - 6:30 pm. We need caring, compassionate persons to serve dinner to hungry individuals the first Saturday of each month. Is God calling you to this mission? Could your family benefit and grow in faith by serving someone less fortunate? No prior experience is needed. Please contact Emmanuel's Night Shelter Volunteer coordinator, Liz Momper (817-540-4225 or email Liz), to sign up to serve at the Presbyterian Night Shelter for a Saturday evening or for more information. We need your help to keep this important ministry going!
