Jennifer Görmüs is Emmanuel's Director of Music. She has a Bachelors Degree in Music Education from Texas Christian University, a Masters Degree in Vocal Performance from West Virginia University, and has returned to TCU to obtain a second Masters Degree in Choral Conducting. Jenny serves EPC by directing the Chancel Choir and the Bell Choir. She also works with various ensembles and musical groups, including the children's choir, throughout the year.
Jenny feels that music should not only glorify God in itself, but also be supportive to the congregation in their personal worship experience. She insures that the anthems and special music are liturgically appropriate for each service and that they always focus our awareness toward God.
When Jenny is not studying, conducting, or teaching voice, she likes to spend time reading, gardening, or being outdoors with her husband, Alper, her dog, Noel and her cat, Calo. Jenny is always ready to share her musical gifts and talents with God's people.
